Bologna, Italy – Glass to Power is delighted to announce its participation in R2B – Research to Business, the International Exhibition of Research and Skills for Innovation, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The event, promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region and organized by ART-ER in collaboration with BolognaFiere, stands as an annual benchmark for the entire innovation community, both nationally and internationally.
R2B is a dynamic crossroads where experts, businesses, institutions, universities, and research centers meet to explore new technologies, research frontiers, and emerging opportunities driven by knowledge. With a flexible format that includes strategic vision events, technical workshops, interactive labs, and a broad exhibition area structured into 8 thematic hubs (from bioeconomy to energy and cleantech), R2B is a tool for growth and valorization, facilitating collaborations and promoting the practical application of research outcomes.
Glass to Power fits perfectly into this context of excellence and exchange. Our participation underscores our commitment to research and development of innovative solutions in the field of Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV). We firmly believe that innovation is key to addressing future challenges and seizing opportunities offered by technology for a more sustainable building industry.
A highlight will be the participation of our CEO, Claudio Castellan, as a speaker at the plenary update workshop for IOIP Ecosister Companies, in collaboration with Netval. This session is scheduled for June 26, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at Innovation Lab 3. During this meeting, Glass to Power, representing the University of Milan-Bicocca, will present its innovations in green solutions, contributing to the debate on Technology Transfer tools.
We are excited to contribute to the debates and exchanges that will animate R2B 2025, particularly on topics related to the new European programming for research and innovation, the STEP platform for strategic technologies, and the future of research post-PNRR. We also highlight the opening of registrations for Innovat&Match, the international brokerage event by Enterprise Europe Network organized within R2B 2025, offering online meetings for research and innovation supply and demand. We will be present at Hall 21, Stand A10, in the Energy and Clean Tech sector, to share our vision and solutions that are redefining the integration of solar energy into buildings, bringing innovation from the lab to the real world.
